Guys,
I was away the last couple of days. Some question answers: Gaskets: They have always come with 1 3" gasket. About a month or so ago we asked that our fabricator pack in 2 gaskets...however, I haven't confirmed if they've been doing that yet...I'll check on the next production run. Axleback version: At some stage we will offer a 2.5" Dual Tip bolt-on. As for a 3" bolt-on that you might use with an existing standard OEM lengthed intermediate pipe we can do that on a special order basis and lead time is usually about a month. Someone else asked if anyone new who we were. We've been on Nasioc for the past 4 years. We're one of the more longer standing vendors on the forum. Daddy's SCP is a general reseller of Subaru only performance products and MadDad(TM) is a performance brand owned by Daddy's SCP. MadDad(TM) products have been around about as long as Daddy's SCP with several products introduced each year. The MadDad lineup includes exhausts, suspension and performance gauges(that are OEM cluster matched). Rich Last edited by Daddy's SCP; 01-20-2007 at 02:48 PM. |

Thanks Rich for getting back on the gaskets question.
For whoever wants to know about Daddy's SCP and MadDad...I have MadDad's v. 1 gauges, v. 1 header and up pipe and v. 2 catted 2-piece dp. Quality of their products are top notch. Rich offers great customer service along with his money back guarantee on his products. Great vendor, period. ![]() |

ok i really can't wait anymore, one last question before i pull the trigger. compared to the Hush , which one is louder and which one sounds more aggressive? the no drone is a HUGE plus , i've heard the single tip on a catless STI but this will be going on a catted wagon, what differences do you think i'll experience (louder? quieter?), and the $649 is shipped correct? hope someone can help, thanks!

I already have a 3" exhaust and would like to replace the axleback with the whisper, so I would already have a 3" midpipe. Can you give me an estimate please?

Yeah, I didn't think of that. I already have an invidia g200 full exhaust, so could I just mate up the axleback dual whisper to it? If so, what would it be shipped to 12540? I'm really loving the look of it, especially if it's quieter than the g200. Please let me know asap. Thanks Rich.

*sigh* well i broke down and bought one, i guess you can't really go wrong with the guarantee, i know i'll be utterly happy with this exhaust, basing it on much of Redrums' comments made ( which made me a bit skeptical because they are in fact opinions of a person) and relentlessly watching this video for the past 2 hours. haha
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...q=maddad&hl=en i've come to the conclusion that with the dual tip a "tinge" louder, deeper more aggressive, and extremely stock looking, it should be perfect for me. plus in the video he is running the same setup as i will be ( catless up, catted Helix dp) besides the fact of the single/dual tip. Rich i anxiously await the arrival of this exhaust and i know i won't be disappointed ! thanks for contributing to the community and making a product for the census that is one step above the rest!!!!! AAHHH I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS!!!!! -Don |

Rich, did you ever get those intermediate pipes with the flex joint in? I've been waiting on it to swap out for the no-flex. Let me know.

Hey rich, i was wondering, can we get an earlier ship date if we dont' want the canister polished? i was planning on shooting the canister black and leaving the tips polished, hopefully with the time that's saved on polishing the can i could get an earlier delivery, that way i could get these poor guys a video clip up sooner, haha! just a thought to see if it could happen.

you didnt mention Bosal.
i take it this is quieter than the Bosal Dual tip Reduced dp cat back (the one with the resonator) every one knows the one without the resonator is rediciously loud, any experience with a resonated one anybody? |

So in the end is the dual tip quiter than the single tip? I want the quitest exhaust possible for my sti. So it is either the MD Dual, MD single tip, or greddy EVO

The MadDad Single is the quietest out of them all. Greddy Evo is actually quite a bit louder and the MadDad Dual Tip, I'd say just has more boxer rumble and isn't much louder. But if you are looking for the *quietest* then go with the MadDad Single Tip.

BTW, I own THE MD whisper dual tip, so I is the subject matter expert!!!! At least until they ship, then my horrid little life of living in my parent's dimly lit unheated basement will be back to a normal state of banality.... ![]() BTW, after another week of ownership I am now 100% sure the dual tip is less db and lower in tone than the single tip. |
