Default Is oil filter relocation possible?

a friend of mine showed me this nifty gadget on his blazer and i was wondering is there any way to do such a thing on a ej20 in a gc chasis

With the location of our filters, there is zero reason to do so. Can you do it? Sure. Is doing it an exercise in futility? Yep.

Why would you watn to do that? And where where you thinking of putting it ? I have no idea why youre even thinking about that since the car has to be up to remove the drain plug anyways and its fairly easy to get to the filter once the car is in the air. I would understand if you got a filter that is in a bitchin place but ours...

the motor i have is from a wrecked wrx the rod with the threads snapped off inside the block thats why i asked if its possible. and since i dont have abs i was going to put it where the air box should have been

Theres ways of removing the snapped part off of it. If you dont know how to do it have a shop do it. It should be fairly easy to do if you take your time with it.
