Default 07 STI dyno

I dyno'd tonight just for *****s tonight. with just an invidia catback i put down 244.. once we turned the boost down to 14.5 psi it dyno'd 251.... figured i'd throw it out. Its getting an intake and downpipe next week (catless) and going back on the dyno...

Boost was at i believe 18 for stock STI?? it was just spiking, the restriction of the downpipe is horrible.. at stock boost we were doing 244, and once it was turned down it did 250...

Stock boost is 14.5 psi. I'm not suprised you got more power at lower boost levels. Unless you adjust the timing and fuel curves to match the boost levels you will run lean at higher boost and the ECU will pull timing due to detonation.

I apologize - but maybe for future reference you can maybe word it better? Post a dyno sheet? Etc.

You may have a BIT more peak horsepower by turning your boost down (for some odd reason), but you just lost about 30ft/lb of torque probably! Probably feels like a honda now...

Yeah, from what I hear, Gadiel was actually hired by Subaru to tune the new 07 ECU's as you can see he put his "magic" into the fuel/timing tables! Neat huh!?

to the thread starter, dude you suck at life. Be more specific when you post in proven power bragging. And how the hell are you turning boost down? You running a MBC with just a catback? And are you full turboback or just a catback? more details homie more details.

Maybe I didn't get the magical 07 ECU in my 07 Limited cause this car has been nothing but disappointment for me since I got it. It comes on to boost too late and too sudden and throttle response is like driving with arthritis. Is there something I'm missing?

i got my evo and the sti messed up, thought the sti ran more PSI than that stock. anyhow, it dyno'd 240, then 244, then 250. Jon definately knows what he was doing, it was my confusion. I thught he told me that he turned the boost down, but obviously i heard wrong.

Anyhow, ill post a chart thursday night when it goes on for a tune, with bolt ons. and yes ill be more specific.
