Question blitz intake or injen CAI?

So its time to pick an intake, and after reading all the great reviews on the injen CAI, i am at square one again....

I had it narrowed down to the blitz intake for the wrx...simply because it is blitz and it was made for the wrx. Oh, and i've heard good things about it. However, that isn't enough to go on when throwing $200+ at it, so........anyone have info on the blitz unit? And comparatively speaking, what intake would you put in your 2002 wrx....?

I have the blitz SUS intake, you can hear your stock bov with it, and the whooosh vacuum noise.

I don't know the HP gains, I feel no improvements, but then again an intake is an intake they probably all make about the same.

I also had that decision to make, Blitz or Injen? After talking to some tuner's, I went with the Injen. No complaints here.

i looked at 3 intakes, injen, blitz, and aem. I have heard bad reviews from 2 posters on this forum from the aem but i purchased it. And i HONASLTY felt top end gain. I completly dissagree with the bad reviews. The piping is 1 peice, fits perfect, i felt high end gain and it sounds great.
If you have any ?'s on why i dissagree with pryer post ill be glad to comment why.
but good luck, and blitz does make a great product, you can get a axle back from them now for around 450 bucks (for blitz that is great!)
well anyway email me if you have a disagreement with the AEM CAI , id love to hear it, and any reasons why, i have had it on the car for a couple months and have been very satisfied

yellow5, i just completed installing two wrx's with the injen intake, and even though i had some battle scars a cut on my forehead and a messed up screw on the sensor, the actual intake is great it doesnt have that hard sucking sound that hondas make,,but it spools up the car faster and is basically just fun to drive around,,so i hope this helps and have fun

Thumbs down

You might as well use chicken wire for a filter if you want the Blitz. I mean come on, you can see right through the holes on the damn thing! About the only thing it's good for filtering out is large rocks.
