I was actually ahead of the evo at the start of the session and he was hanging in well. they blue flagged me to let me know he was close so I let him by and he blew the next 3 corners and waved me by again. We were running close with each other for the whole session...good fun.

There were a lot of fast cars out there but the guys driving them really didnt seem to be pushing too hard. I can understand though since their repair costs for a broken car would be way higher than mine.

God I'm jealous, I wish NY had something like this, I'd love to take my car on the track just for the experience.

Yeah, were lucky to have that option here in SoCal. Even though it was clear and sunny it was only 22 degrees when we got there in the morning. It ended up in the mid 60s by the afternoon so it was a really nice day. The track was really strange with the big temperature swing so the laptimes really changed throughout the day.

Color me jealous. Looks good out there! Was this an SCCA event? Or just an open track day?

Good pic's! That porsche is pure seX0rz!!!

Btw, do you have any pic's of your stoptech bbk? I've never seen one on an STI...

Edit, n/m. I just searched your s/n. They really don't look any bigger compared to the oem Brembo's. Is it noticeable when braking?

They are bigger in OD by 6mm and thicker by 2mm so they arent a huge increase in size. I did notice an improvement in pedal feel in the form of a firmer higher pedal and improved responsiveness from the smaller piston sizes, along with a lighter feel in the steering from removing 5 pounds from each rotor due to the 2 peice replacments.
