Hey, I've got a 95 legacy and I recently bought some struts for the front. At napa they were listed as fitting wrx/impreza/and my generation of legacy. I'm pretty sure it will fit and be fine but I just wanted to double check.
The time has come to get springs and I was just going to get wrx springs because they are more readily available than "legacy" springs. I assume they will fit if the struts will. Also,,, does anyone know about the quality and ride of Perrin springs? They are only $206 on slowboyracing and Perrin is a name I've heard quiet a bit in the Subaru world. Thanks.

i don't know about the Perrin springs, but i do know that the WRX struts will definitely fit your car. the problem you'll have is if you run aftermarket springs, or even OEM springs from a different Subaru. in that case, you'll have to match your top hats accordingly.
just for reference, i'm running '04 STi shocks, springs, and top hats on my '95 Legacy L wagon, and it bolted in perfectly. |

There's a thread in the FAQ uptop about suspension swapping that makes for some good reading.
Anyway, the rear springs should fit no problem, but the front requires different top hats or you need to modify the stock ones. |

I ended up purchasing a set of whiteline controls. They are a little more than the perrins but the top hats to make the wrx springs fit would've costed close to 300! I've heard nothing but good reviews about the whitelines and I think it was a good purchase.
Thanks for the Input! |
