Exclamation Anyboy ever try these?

Hope this link works. It's Tire Rack's page on the Continental ContiExtremeContact Tire.

I've been looking around for tires for my Outback. My son works on German cars and said I should check out some of the Continentals; they come stock on some BMW's. I sorta scoffed at this suggestion but was amazed by the customer ratings on these tires. Funny; I never heard much about Continentals before. It's always, Michelin, Pirelli, blah blah etc... but not Continental!

And Tire Rack's price is only $76.00 each!!

I liked them, they dont hydroplane easy, they're relatively quiet, and do ok on snow and gravel.

Tire life was the same as every other tire I've tried, except the zeix 512's that suck.

There are lots of reviews in the sticky at the top of this forum. Just one example that I pulled out of there...

Thank you MT_WRX. I appreciate the link. I don't have as much time as other people might to search around and pick things apart, as I find myself raising a nephew in my middle age, who was somewhat abandoned, and he has numerous developmental problems that pull me in several directions.

Thanks for doing my "leg work"! Kudos.
