Exclamation AZP Stage 4 Security Pics/Info

Finally got around to taking some pics of our Stage 4 security setup. This is a shifter lock that will keep your car locked into R so that it is more difficult to push/pull drive your car away w/o breaking the shifter off! Similar to the ones that mount to the tunnel, except this is a no-holes drilled method, and can be used with either a standard shifter or a short shifter. We've installed 4 of these units so far and are ready to ramp up production of another run.

Pricing is $250 installed or $225 if you have our stage 1 or 2 setup. If you come in and get Stage 1, 2 and 4 the package deal is $400.

Pics below:

Couldn't you just unscrew the shifter knob and take the lock off?

Except that it's well below the top of the shifter rod. Not happening, maybe you'd rip the shifter out, but then you couldn't shift it either.

Let me know as the setup for a GC is a little different than the 2002+ ones and we'll have to arrange it special for you.

How so? Also no security system is 100% The key to any good security setup is to have as many layers as you can for theives to get through in order to prevent them getting your car. Each layer you add makes the time it takes for them to get away with your car longer. So if you have stage 1, stage 2, Stage 4, OEM Alarm, OEM Immobilizer, and anything else you can add, you have limited the chance of theft.

In the end if someone really wants your car, there is nothing you can do to stop them, only slow them down and hope they move on to another car.

With that said, look for new weekly hours at AZP as I've gotten out of my overnight job and will be looking to have regular weeknight hours probably 2 nights a week starting in late April.

Default good work

They do good work. they installed the stage 1, 2 and 3 system on my 04 wagon. My car was STILL stolen, but was found 200 yards away.
The thieves got around the factory alarm, the horn, the stage 2 , but as soon as they drove off, the engine stalled because of the stage 1 switch. they tried to "fix" the problem but the stage 3 horn went off.

I sold my car a couple days later after the dealer repaired the damage.(the thieves broke the lock, cut the wire from the horn, ripped apart the console and removed the controller of the factory alarm, ripped apart the ignition system). it cost me around $800 to fix, but it would have been more if i didn't get the AZP security system installed.

I've decided to stay away from buying another WRX for a while.
