Default Accessport V2.0 question

I was reading in an earlier thread that you have to have a battery charger hooked up to your battery before flashing witht the new Accessport. Is this true. I know you didnt need it with the old Version 1 Accessport. Thanks for the help guys...

Nope, not needed. That would take the "Flash-on-the-go" fun out of the new AP

A battery charger is referenced in the AP manual if your battery is low. It says something to the effect: Drive around a bit or hook up a battery charger before flashing.

They are just safeguarding from someone running out of battery power while doing a base map flash.
