You bring it to one of the few dealers in this country that can tune it (reflash it), preferably one with an AWD dyno. Thats about the only way!!

yes, including the unichip... you just order one that has been mapped for your application, such as the one offered by TurboXS...

you only have no ability to retune the chip until someone comes along and creates the interface to do so.

its only a computer

lets just say I'm working on it.

What is the hype about user tuning their UniChips? Is there some secret underground club you have to belong to? Do you have to sent to some remote location and undergo some type of training and sworn to silence? Maybe a gag-order of some type..

It should depend on your knowledge and not your needs. You need to be knowledgable on what your doing for it to be a big advantage.

Adjustablility = good for people that know what their doing.

Adjustablility = bad for amateurs or beginners

I would say there are a lot more amateurs(including myself) than professionals on this board.

This applies to anything adjustable on a car; Coilovers, ECU, Alignment, etc. Heck, side view mirrors are adjustable and can be bad if you don't know how to adjust them for proper vision.

I think the Unichip is good for the majority of us that don't have access to dynos, and wideband O2 meters to properly tune the car. And for most of us, we'll never go beyond a turbo-back, turbo, injector upgrade anyways.

Just my $.03
