Default Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Anyone know why there is a difference in the diagnostic trouble codes for an 04 wrx to 05 wrx when viewing in enginuity?

For example (TGV intake manifold runner 2005)(TGV System-2004), the 04 has P1091 - P1111
the 05 has P2004 - P2504

Any particular reason SOA would do this? did they change any hardware because of it?

Not sure, but the old codes were Subaru specific, while the new ones are generic.
