Default Any 16"'s that fit the STi?

Does anyone know for a fact of any 16" wheels out there at all that will fit over the STi brembo's?

Just checking before i go out and buy 17" snow tires (have lots of 16's)
Anyone know a good place to get cheap Kumho KW19's or Toyo Garit_HT's in a 17"? (by cheap i mean under $140 a tire roughly. i know where to get that price already)

We haven't found any yet but I am keen to test fit Team Dynamics Pro Race 1s on an STI. They might just fit.

If you do find one PLEASE let me know.

No, there aren't any 16in wheels for the STi Brembos. You would have to downgrade to the 4/2 pots that Rallispec sell for the R180. (Yes, they have those too)

Other than that there is nothing besides 17in wheels that will fit.

If you don't mind me asking...why do you need 16in wheels?

yes, thats one option. swap rotors and calipers just for the winter. i already have the oem 4/2 pot setup on my 03 WRX i'm selling, but having a seperate set of brakes for summer and winter is sillier than having seperate sets of tires for summer and winter.

as for the 16" issue? i have several sets of good snow tires in 16" sitting around. better to have to buy a new set of anywhere-near-cheap wheels to clear my brakes, than to have to buy one set of 17" snow tires (rediculously expensive).

sounds like i just might be out of luck. not havin much luck finding the snow tires i want at a reasonable price either. oh well. hating my STi more and more everyday...

With a little bit of grinding, the rear 2 pot Brembo will clear 16 in wheels no problem.

Get Subaru 4 pot for the front and run 16 in wheels.
