is there anything else besides the motor that is worth getting? my bro just picked one up so he's deciding what to do. part out and swap into his 99 OBS impreza or daily driver. lmk

front brakes maybe, i know they are the same as 2.5RS/Outback fronts.

Is the rear diff the VLSD 3.90?

If so, grab the diff, axles and driveshaft (rear half). It makes a nice companion set to the 6-speed if you don't want to go R180. I may need it if I grenade mine with the new tires and clutch.

LSD was only in 91 and on the 5mt. All Legacy Wagon Turbos were 4EAT.

Actually, they are the same size, but they are inferior calipers. They are only worthwhile if one is getting them for frees...
