Default 07 turbo back with no EM.. check engine light?

Title says it all.. sorta. I'm picking up an 07 sti and plan to slap on a turbo back exhaust asap. I'm a huge fan of the Cobb AP's, but the lack of 07 maps has left me wondering.. Will my check engine light come on if I go turbo back with EM? Will it only occur if I go catless?

I hav ethe 07 and jsut put on a HKS dp and a Greddy EVO2 full exhaust and I'm hitting boost cut which turned on the CEL.
I think its from the poor design of the downpipe..
