after researching from my slow ass cell phone, I see that 02-03 wrx wagon coilovers will fit on a 95 legacy wagon (going by the wagon to wagon theory). I'm looking into the omnis or some h&r (like I had on my wrx)... but when searching for them it doesn't seem wagon specific. just something along the lines of (02-03 wrx coilovers). would a full coilover setup from an 02-03 wrx be a complete bolt on swap? if not, what else would I need?

as far as gc coils, can you specify your statement more? I've personally never had a suspension combo using different springs and struts... its usually a full coilover. which gc fits the bg5?

Ground Control sleeves should fit just fine on any struts you want. I'm using them with stock struts with Koni inserts, and I know I've seen them paired up with KYB AGXs, too.

You can try coilovers that fit BD's. You can order the rear with a slightly stiffer spring set from the factory.

Also... Outback w/ GC/AGX's.

Any Impreza suspension up to 2005 not including STI will fit your car. In the last issue of Subiesport we put coilovers from a 2005 RS on our 97 LGT.

Or are you looking at putting coilover sleeves on your struts? I would think this would work as coil sleeves seem to be pretty universal in application.

GC coilover sleeves are pretty universal. It comes with a bunch of spacers for you to custom fit the spring perch and spring onto whatever strut you are choosing to run.

With the stiff spring rates they come with though, I wouldn't try this with a stock strut (hence AGX's), or GR2's. They would just wear out much too quickly.

I see people say this all too often, and I have no idea where this idea comes from, because there is absolutely ZERO truth to it. Yes, spring rates that are too high are bad, but you can spec whatever springs you want with the GC sleeves. There is no "standard" setup when you order from GC - you look at the dozens of different spring rates that are available and you pick what you want. I've run 225f/200r, 315f/280r, and 375f/350r over the past few years. There are springs that are even softer than the 200# springs that I've run, and there are springs even firmer than the 375# springs I've got now.

Megan Racing coilovers for the '02-'03 WRXes will bolt up just fine (might want to swap the front L and R tophats, or whatever they're called, for better alignment). mranlet and I both run this setup (he's selling his right now).
