Default remote start, didn't see what i was searching for

hi everyone. i know usually one would not remote start a manual, but if you used the e-brake all the time and left it in neutral and bi-passed the clutch safety then this should work right?

second question, what sort of secutiry ignition bypass does a 95 L AWD have, if any? thanks in advance
Andy

You can do it (tho it can be done safer). There is a reason people dont do it that way. Companys make specific remote starts for manuals iirc. There is a process you must complete when getting out of the car (ensuring that its not left in gear) or the remote start will not work.

as for the 95L question... check the stone tablet library.

Yeah, I dont have any personal exp with them, but I have a few friends with them and whatnot. They swear by them.

It bet it could end up costing you $300+ to get it installed if you dont do it yourself.

Hey I have a manual, and my girlfriend bought me remote start for x-mas. IT'S AWESOME!!!! It was $199 installed. The cool thing about it is that it will only enable when:
1) The car is in neutral
2) the e-brake is engaged

If you screw up either of those two simple steps then worst case is that the remote start won't enable. I use it every single day. When I figure out the brand I got I will post it up on here.
