I hope somone here can help me with this little issue. Lately my car has been starting a bit difficultly. I got a code reader and pulled the code, it registered the that the problem was a evaporative emission control system circuit malfunction. I think this has somthing to do with the bits and pieces associated the catalytic converter. Is this right? A little help? Thanks.

What is the exact code?
The evap system has nothing to do with the cat(s). It is the system that captures the vapors from the fuel system and directs them to the intake to be burned. Diagnosing this system can be difficult unless there is a visually obvious fault such as a broken or disconnected hose. Also please complete your profile to include your car information. |
