Volk, Rays 16x8 Wheels?

Is anyone running 16x8 Volks/Rays wheels? I was thinking of going with Volk Racing TE37 or Gram Lights 57s. It looks like they only offer 42mm offset in 5x100. Maybe a 6mm spacer to get ideal 48mm total offset??

I got a little inspiration from this Skyline - http://www.nissan-skyline.org/wheels.html

Any pics, input, ideas would be great.

I recommend buying wheels with a 5x100 bolt pattern rather than 4x100.

I run 15x8" TE-37s for auto-x duty and some track work. They've also done some daily driver time (out in HI, when I'd sometimes not bother to swap back to street rubber between monthly auto-x events). In the 15" size they're +45mm, and they do clear WRX brakes. If you're just looking for track/auto-x wheels you might look into the 15" option. If you're looking for street wheels then I don't imagine you want to downgrade to 15s.

Careful, I believe that using a 6mm spacer would change the "effective offset" to 36mm, not 48mm. A higher number in the offset usually indicates that the wheels is further into the wheel well, not pushed out. Adding a spacer just pushes an already outwardly pushed wheel (42 offset) further out.

I don't think there are any Gram Lights in 16x8, both the TE37 and CE28N are offered in 16x8 et 42

They used to offer a 16x8 Gram Light in the 57C it was 46et IIRC- I had a set and unfortunately sold them thinking they wouldn't fit my wagon (used to have sedan)- sigh...
