Default door repair needed?? help?

So a pesky little thief got into my car the other night. Gotta love thieves!

So now my door locks will not work from the outside but it will from the inside. I've been searching all morning to find a write up to fix it. any leads here. I've already done searches here and I can't seem to find the right key words?

Any help here? I would really appreciate it.. scooby gurus?

I doubt there is a writeup for something that specific.

I have a writeup on www.sl-i.net on how to remove the door panels - you could use that to get in there, then you have to find what's wrong. It's probably just a disconnected rod or something in there.

You need to be more specific- how did they break in?
I'm guessing they shoved something into the keyhole and turned the lock, which would easily explain your key not working. If that's the case, you need a new lock cylinder.

New lock cylinders aren't that expensive.
