Default APS CAI Filter replacement?

Does anyone have a cone filter brand and part number that will fit on the 65mm APS CAI?

TIA,

I to want to know this. I plan on getting a AEM Dryflow filter replacement, but I need to know the dimensions of the filter...

IE: Inlet, etc etc

That would be best.

I know this is crazy, but if it was warmer then 4 degrees outside i'd measure mine.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the inlet and what not?

I want to order a new filter.

I think its 3.25 inlet, and im gonna go with a 9 inch element seeing how it just sits in the fender.

glad to hear that i'm not the only one that wants to know which universal filter is being used on the APS CAI. Is there a difference between the 70mm and the 65mm filters part number?

Shouldn't be a difference. The 70 and 65mm intakes are the same up until you reach the MAF area.

I've already done that and they don't reply. I'm assuming they want us to buy the replacement cone filter from them since they have a part number for it.

I called K&N gave them the Flange serial number and the Base serial number

The two closest to my eyeball of a 6" filter element were:

7" Filter element: ru-3130
5 1/2" Filter element : ru-3550

It is definitely the ru-3130

Sorry for the confusion..

The ru-3550 is about 2" shorter and a tad bit wider. This means it will not fit well enough if you have an APS FMIC.

As well, the mounting ridge so I couldn't use my t-bolt.
