Default Rushneck Subaru, NY

Rushneck Subaru in Tarrytown, New York- where i bought my wrx from Martin Levinson(sales associate).. they do a good job with their servicing, and the prices are fair. But even if you make an appointment you still may have to wait a few hours for them to finish your car, even for just an oil change. They know there Subies- but gave me a pain in my arse when i ordered my spoiler directly from the warehouse myself for $290 and brought it to them..but they eventually installed it after they made me sign a disclaimer/waiver.(even after checking to make sure it was genuine SOA part)

From Brewster probably about 30min. away.. You'd probably take the 684 to 287 .. on 287west it is the last exit before the TappenZee Bridge (Rt.117 i think) and the dealer itself is on RT.9

This place has some horrible salesmen. My friend went there with his friend, who's a stuck up rich boy. Apparently most places figure that he's rich so they let him test drive cars such as the IS300 and I think a Porsche. Anyway they went to the dealer to test drive the WRX when it first came out and they laughed at him and said "No offense but anyone who would let you test drive it would be stupid." Then they proceded to tell him about the WRX and trying to con him into buying all these other things. I guess this was around April?? so I forget a lot of things but they tried to convince him that in order to go above 100 mph he needed to buy the BBS rims. My friend went along with the other kid because he's a mechanical engineer major and wanted to see how it was.
I guess this only reflects on their sales department and not their service department.

Default Can they do oil changes

I want a place in or near Brewster, NY/Danbury, CT to have my Mom take her '98 Legacy L wagon in for oil changes. the local gas station over filled it BAD last time and a GOOD dealer also did the last time they chaged the oil!! And I have heard WAY to many HORROR stories from bad Quick Lube places. Any sugestions, casue I am in collage and can't take care of it.

Shortlid,

My in-laws just bought a Forester from Chase Parkway Subaru, Watertown, CT. They just had their 3k service which went without a hitch.

Watertown may be too far from the Brewster area though.

Hope it helps.
