Default WRX replacement tires

I am looking for a good replacement tire for an 02 WRX. I like the tires that are on there, they perform well in all conditions. So I am looking for some thing that would be a good replacement for them that isn't crazy expensive.

Get some Falken Azenis 615's. They are pretty inexpensive and they are a great tire.

I think the OP d000d might want some more well thought advice....as he is in a VERY wet part of the country.

A tire that is better suited to wet conditions would be a better choice.

there are several good ones....read up on this a bit, here

^^^^^ agreed

If you're looking for a cost efficient, all around performer, look no further than the falken fk452.

These look nice, are you running these on your car?

It does get pretty wet out here. The stock tires were great, they had plenty of grip for the playing that I did. I just am trying to find that same kind of tire again with out breaking the bank.

Most people have been going with the Pirelli PZero Nero M+S which is slightly more aggressive (tarmac) tire but still a good all-round tire. If you want to go more the other way, that is a slightly better tire for winter and gravel, but still a good all-round tire, take a look at the Bridgestone G009.

Whatever you do don't get re92's. While they may (or may not) be a good tire, they are way over-priced for what you're getting.
