Anyone ever run a 55series 17" tire on their STi?

I can get a killer deal on 225/55/17 snows. can that be run on an STi stock rim wihout hitting the strut perch or demolishing the front fender during turns?

anyone ever tried?

...no...too tall--- ~1.7" taller than stock

yeah, i kinda looked at it and wondered.
i'll also be using D-spec sruts, i'm not sure if they have such a big bottom perch as the huge oem sti struts do. i'll have too look again after i get the new ones on.
