Question Changing Instrumental Panel Light

I want to change the instrumental panel light to a different color in my RS. Right now, it glows green, but I want to change it to something else.
I haven't looked carefully, but can we change the color?

Right now, I am modifying interior of my RS. My interior is colored blue (just like Jamie's, but it is blue). I love it...

You should be able to do that. I changed the color of the light in my fog light switch to green so that it matches the other lights in the dash. If the lights are the same as those, which I'm almost possitive they are. The only thing that changes the color is a little colored rubber boot that goes over the bulb. To make a green light in your fog light switch you need to find a blue rubber boot. I got mine out of a mazda in the junk yard. The only thing is I think they actually have some kind of green plastic sheet in there to make them that color. I was at the junk yard today and took some lights out of a MY98 OBS and they didnt have the colored boot on them. That is why I think they have some kind of colored sheet between the lights and the actual instruments. Hopefully I am wrong because that would make it a little harder to do. I hope I explained that well enough, if I didnt go ahead and e-mail me or post back and I will try to think of a better way to explain it. Good luck and let me know if it works. By the way if you want to get a blue light I think you should try to get or make a purple rubber boot. Just a thought. I know with the light passing through the boot it will make the boots color a bit lighter. That is why a blue boot made my light green.

Green Hornet, thank you!!
I will try to look insite the panel this weekend and see what's there. Hopefully I can change the color with no problem.
I checked out the link that thehanna posted. It seemed that I would be impossible. But, I will try anyway and let you know.

Thanks again guys
