Default Fuse and Relay Box

I apologize if this post is in the wrong section, but this seemed to be the most pertinent sub-forum:

Car: 98' Impreza Regular (no 2.5, no 2.2, just run-of-the-mill)

Problem: My clock dashboard clock (the one next to the speedometer) suddenly went off while driving about 50+ mph down the road one day. At the same time, I believe my subwoofer went out, but I can't exactly tell because I haven't tested it. Either way, the dashboard clock is no longer there.

First thoughts were to check the fuses. I check the Radio Clock fuse, obviously the wrong choice because the radio, the radio clock, and the tape deck all still work.

Second thoughts are to check under the hood, so I open the relay box and take out the Room Clock fuse thinking that this fuse controls the room light and one of the clocks. I replaced it, even though it wasn't burnt, and nothing happened.

Third thoughts are the wiring, that's beyond my skill, which is already very limited as you can see.

What could this be? Did the bulb back there go out? Do I have to get new wires for something? Should I check ALL of the fuses? Do I have to take it in for help?

Thanks,

c20w
