gauge cluster color change question

is it the same process with Automatic also/?

yes, except you kinda have to leave the automatic selection window alone. it uses a different system of lighting, similar to the check engine and oil pressure warning lights- there are little compartments that light up individually. you can't change these colors without some serious electrical miniature soldering work.

but other than the gear selection indicator, it's the same.

i did it on my manual and i'd suggest you just not bother. it's not worth all the hassle and if you break something you're screwed.

^^^ yea i agree with him...
if its as easy as changing a few bulbs then Yeah..
but the whole process is pretty complicated and time consuming
just buy the STI cluster if you like how it looks @ night

I did mine (manual) and love the color. Then again, I spent 30 hours on it. After the first time I have managed to reduce that time significantly, but the method I used (search for my led/gel write up) is time consuming.
