Default STi limited edition wheels by Enkei?

Just curious... why are the STi limited edition wheels by Enkei? And at the price at the dealer it would seem they are cast.

Why would a limited edition want cast as opposed to the currently available forged BBS?

Maybe to keep costs in check. The Limited adds leather with heated front seats, front lip, sunroof, and fogs. The addition of these items ment money had to be saved somewhere or it would be a $40,000 car.

Because the Limited isn't meant to be a race car remember? People wanted something they could drive to work and not get called a "boy racer" with a big wing and flashy gold wheels, brakes and bright blue interior.

I dont get it personally, but you can't blame Subaru for selling what people want to buy...it helps everybody in the end, choice is always good.

The thing I don't get is why they look so similar to the regular STI wheels.

I always thought it was funny that they didn't change the design between 04 and 05...the Wheels are different widths and bolt patterns.

As a person who can only use the 5x100 bolt pattern, I found this to be very sad.
