Default o2 Sensor always shows "NOT READY"

I have an 02 wrx and i've driven about 200 miles but for some reason my o2 monitor always shows not ready. I dont get it. I've been up and down the highway for miles, stop and go for two weeks. Monitor just wont set. I even bought an OBDII scanner and no pending codes or nothing. Anybody had this problem?? I need to pass my emissions.

did you buy the car new or used? If used, the previous owner probably wired in a electrical fix to trick the rear o2 sensor so it doesnt throw a CEL for lack of cat(s). Do you have an exhaust on the car? Catless?

If so:

Search mechanical o2 fix to solve problem. You will have to crawl under the car, remove the rear o2 sensor, and pull off the resistors. Then apply the mechanical fix.

If the car is new, go to the dealer and have them take care of it.

I bought the car new and yes I have the electrical fix. But I passed last year no problems.
I know whats needed to be done to set the EVAP. I can reset and get it done in under 20 miles. But I cant figure out what drive cycle needs to take place to get the o2 sensors to start.

something like 200 miles to cycle the o2 sensors. Get rid of the electrical fix and do the mechanical. Then you wont ever have to worry about the rear o2 ever again.

Do what you want but it seems like a no brainer to me, the mech fix cost like 8bucks.
