Shifter extenders are here! We have limited quantities of:
-Black extender straight
-Black extender bent
-Polished extender bent
Why shifter extenders? After getting a short shifter installed, do you wish you could have more leverage to row through the gears? Especially harnessed in on a road course? The extenders provide an easy, yet reversible mod for those looking for more leverage and closer proximity to steering wheel.
There are 2 hex nuts provided so you can fine tune the height adjustments of the shifter to your own specifications.
Price is $28 shipped (price updated 05/2007) to 48 states (Alaska, Hawaii and Canada 35 shipped)

I personally use the Black straight on my sti and the question about getting into reverse has come up. When I first put the extender on, it was an interesting challenge getting into reverse. In stock form, you'd have your hand on top of the shift knob and use your middle/ring finger to lift up the reverse tab, so I adapted and now when I get into reverse I have the extender in the 'flap' between my thumb and index finger. That has seemed to work great for me.
