Default EJ22T stroker Rods

Hi guys,

EJ22T stroker with ported wrx heads. EJ25 phase 1 crank, Wisco over sizes pistons (K602M975) and Pauter rods (SUB-230-550-1315F)

I'm looking for a lower cost alternative to replace the Pauter rods (784.00$USD). I still need quality forged rods but with a lower price tag if possible.

Here's the Pauter rods spec:

Pin dia. .905"
B E bore 2.165"
Length 5.180"
B E width .840"
Weight 585g

Thanks

Kos

what kind of power levels/torque do the rods need to be able to withstand?

pauter's are great rods in my book. If you bought them in the first place, you may have a tough time finding a good replacement for less money.

You know the OE EJ22t rods will stand up to 30PSI and stupidly high RPM's right?

Thanks for the link. 500$ is better than 800$ if the rods does the job.

I don't believe oem rods will survive 30PSI for long.

I'm looking to hit 400WHP (high 300 would be acceptable) on 94 with a GT30R, water/methanol injection, fmic, oil cooler. I'm thinking about the reverse intake manifold, I will see how the project goes.
