Default nitto invo on my 06 STi

well the 06 STi i just bought, had to get the tires replaced from the dealer... so they left the choice up to me, so i decided to try the nitto invo in the stock STi size... and compared to the stock tires they seem to hook just as good, they dont make any noise(even when pushed in a turn), and the best part is... at discount tire the RE070 are a whopping $245 ea. the nitto's $130!!! i'll take em,lol... so all i have to say is so far they seem to be a great tire, but it is slightly cold here in illinois,lol... so i'm sure the real test will be when it gets warn out!!!!!!

When you say 'had to get the tires replaced from the dealer' .. what do you mean?.. just curious. Was there a defect in one of your re070's? .. sucks if that's true. Or, do you just mean.. 'tires were worn out, needed new ones'.

Keep us posted on the Invo's, it's always good to get reviews of new tires... and I can't say I've read terribly many reviews of those particular tires.

no the tires were far from worn out, but the passengers side front tire had a nice hunk taken out of it (prob from hitting a curb) so when i noticed it i said i wanted 4 new tires, so the dealer replaced all 4 for me... so i have 3 RE070's with 90% tread sitting on my porch... i just put up a post in the for sale section, cause i dont need them anymore...
