Default Wheel Combination F:17x9 & R:17x8.5

I am considering a wheel combination for my 2005 STi.

Looking for something 17x9 (front) and 17x8.5 (rear) with a conservative offset in mind. Remember the wheels need to be 5x114.3.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The only ones I found are Volk CE28N F:17x9 5 +43 & R:17x8.5 +52.

Downside: Too expensive :-(

why go to a 8.5 rear if people have proven that a 9" +43 will work there???

a couple people have even gone to 10's in the front.. Unless you race.. ALOT>> and tire money is no object to you.. why not put the same wheel in all 4 positions.. and call it a day??

Wider in the front will help negate understeer. Its a proven setup...

You're right, but we need to know what the OP plans to do with his car. It would suck to burn out your fronts quickly because you can't rotate your tires.
