Default FS: Beater car!! 1996 Plymouth Neon

I have for sale a 1996 2 door Plymouth Neon. This car runs awesome! I bought it for the intentions to drive it for the winter and keep my Subie in the garage. Since there hasn't been any crazy snow storms thus far I've decided to sell it.
The car is 5spd, has AC that needs a recharge but works.
I recently just put brand new tires on the car and also a brand new battery and terminals.
Mileage:125,xxx
Color:white
The only problem with this car is the HUGE dent on the passenger side rear.
I will have pictures up tomorrow of the car.
Any questions or comment please PM here or email me, Woods328@aol.com
Price: $1000 OBO

You'll notice in the last picture thats the dent, that rear wheel looks weird only becuase of the small hill the car is on.

Possibly interested. I may be getting a bike this spring/summer and if so, I'd need to pick up a beater as well (would sell the subie.)

You could also post over on Neons.org in the new england section. It's quite likely that you can find a replacement door real cheap. When I was in Neons, I sold doors for $10 and usually ended up giving them to the junkyard.

Those make awesome, cheap track cars, by the way! Mopar X-Hi rate springs, AGX shocks and some used 15" alloys with track tires and then just rip all the extra weight out of it. I did that for 1/2 a season with a 96.

Yea the only problem is it's not the door, its behind the door on the rear panel. Thanks though.

Ya neons are cheap and fun driving little beaters I got a 95 for free YEARS ago with a dead/poorly disassembled motor, ended up not getting enough time/money to make it into a racer and ended up giving it away on craigslist. Good luck with the sale, one of these days i"ll pick another one up for some autocrossing fun.

Holy crap..speaking of which...Jack ffr1846 ever get a 95 neon with a dead timing belt and had to tow it out of a driveway with locked rear wheels in 04? Small friggin world if you did :P
