Default Hey everyone! SRT4 Owner here, wanted to say hi!

Hey there everyone. I have a lot of friends who drive the subie sedans and wagons. I am a respected member at the srtforums, long time member there, thought I would come here and visit a little bit.

I test drove an STi before I bought my car but in the end I was more interested in straight line speed and the ability to modify my car some, plus the luxury aspect is higher in the srt4. Nothing against the STi, it is an awesome car, I just went for the srt4 because I think you get more for the money.

I hope to meet some really cool people here

No no, I'm not meaning to start a fight, I guess people just like different things is all. You guys are more into the rally stuff I think. I am into the street and drag strip, but that's cool

haha that's great huh and remember you're driving a dodge a neon at that regardless of what people say. Yea and the luxury of having a clip on shiftnob. Dude I used to work at a dodge dealer you're driving something unreliable and not to mention garbage. But have fun with it while you can.

Don't be a dick man, I'm here to make friends, you guys all flooded my thread at that other forum and got me banned, that wasn't nice at all. People here are smarter than that, thankfully.

Uh, no they aren't, I'm running 11's and I've had very few issues, a few hard pipes blown off in the beginning as I tuned it, ran a little rich, all tuning gets stuff back to normal. How are you going to sit there and insult my car?

Welcome to nasio.com. You will find many people who are enthusiasitc and knowledgeable about subaru here.

One thing though - I certaintly feel that it feels more luxurious in STi than SRT-4 IMO.

if you were looking for something luxurious, both cars you chose were a bad choice. However, a sti is way more luxurious than an srt4, and it has a better all look. Plus, anyway you slice it, it is still a neon. I have said many times before though i wish dodge would of never came out w/ the neon in the first place because i would be all over an srt4 if it didnt have that neon look/name.

Now now, subaru guys, play nice, if hes here with good intentions I say let him be.

However, I dont see how the SRT4 has a higher "luxury" aspect then the STi.

Regardless, I didn't buy my STi for Luxury, if I wanted Luxury, I would have bought a BMW or something.

SRT-4 seats are 10x better than STi seats. They actually HOLD you in place.

SRT-4: 1 - STi: 0

Well, the quality of the build, you know? When you sit in the seat in an srt4, it feels so good. Then you look at the dash and the quality material and how everything is right there for you within reach, the 6 disc cd player, the power sunroof, tilt steering, the blinkers are really nice. All in all Dodge just did a wonderful job with this car. You know luxury when you drive one, most people would agree with me I'm sure. It feels so good to drive.

I would sure hope the blinkers and the dash are within reach, other wise you would have to have a passenger do it all for you.

You seriously feel that build quality of SRT-4 is better than STi? I respect your view and all, but have you really been in a STi? What did you dislike about STI build quality?

Why exactly do you have to resort to name calling and insults? Can't you try and get along with newbies?

I just didn't like that it felt kind of cheap when I took it for a test drive. Plus I keep hearing about all the differential problems people have just from dropping the clutch at 5000 rpm, a car should be able to handle that IMO. Other than that probably nothing, but like I said, I wanted straight ahead speed, AWD wasn't too important to me.
