Aussie offroading mag gives top kudos to Hyundai Santa Fe CRDi. Wonder if they can bring that over here? I guess it would have to meet the new diesel-unfriendly stringent US emissions.

Santa Fe seems like a real value in the marketplace- just cross-shopping against the B9 Tribeca, for example, the Santa Fe offers more legrrom, shoulder room, hiproom and headroom in a lighter, smaller package with more (78 cu ft vs 74) cargo capacity. And of course, less money.
