Default Having an issue with the GF, how to deal with it.

I've been trying to avoid writing her off as WAPCE, I think she has a good heart.

....

....

....

But.
Since November she has been staying at my house every night, coming in mid day now and then all that, and not offered to pay a dime of rent, and when our utility bills skyrocketed she said she'd help, and then I guess I called her bluff. She had been staying with me on my days off since we started dating a year ago, but that was different. Oh, she 'lives' with her parents after getting divorced before. She seldom (less than 1/4 of the time) offers to pay for food.

Oh yeah, I'm unemployed right now and getting ready to go back to school next semester (summer). So while I saved money while at my last job I'm not exactly flushed...and she still makes close to what I did at my last job.

CN: Girlfriend moved herself in, never goes home, won't help with bills, and "lives" with her parents. WAPCE?

Sounds less like a girlfriend and more like a leech to me.

My brother was in a similar situation. He told her just to do the food shopping, and she couldn't even do that....so, needless to say she is but a memory.

IDP, Take pics and post you know where, drop her ass off in the middle of nowhere and tell her not to come around anymore.

Demamd sex at specific and frequent intervals, as compensation for bills.
Then give her the option of cash instead.
Maybe she'll get the point.

If she's not officially living with you then you can't expect her to pay your bills. If she's already around all the time and you like her enough tell her you want her to move in and you'll split all the bills 50/50

Otherwise suck it up or dump her.

There is no I in TEAM. Tell her if she is going to live there, like actually live there, she is going to need to contribute. It is the right thing to do. And don't go soft when she starts making the sad puppy eyes. And don't fall for the 'I'll give you more action' method of payment. It never happens.

Have to talked to her about these issues yet? Maybe she thinks nothing is wrong and continues on her way.

You can do it indirectly without actually saying, hey you need to pay...like say "lets go grocery shopping, im getting sick of eatting out and its expensive" at the grocery store when your both in line be like.."ok do you want to go first". At home, "turn down the a/c, lights, heat, my electric bill sucked last month"...hopefully after a few of these types of comments she will catch on and start paying some of her share.

Sex or IDP is no prob, I get it when I want it. She also really won't argue with me, and told me I was being a prick only once (those that know me realize my actions warrant that much more).

Suregrap- no, she is being a leech, not a ho.

She is also über religious (save the sex part I guess) so that is a constant issue. A lot of my friends like her, and my dad likes her, but my mom realizes she doesn't challenge me enough, and my mom wants me to marry a nice Jewish girl.

Sounds like my roommate and his girlfriend. They consume 80% of the gas, electricty and general room in the house, don't pay one red cent more towards the utilities.

Done, I dropped like 75 at trade joes, then we went to the normal supermaket for other stuff, I asked her to get it (about 40 worth of stuff) and she did... but then bitched for the rest of the day about how broke she is.

...and the utilities thing totally tried that. I could sleep at like 50 degrees fine, she needs it like 65+. I showed her the $380 util bill and she was like, wow, we should turn it down huh. Then nothing changed, then another high one, and she said the same crap.

If you were to ask her to move in would she refuse on religious grounds?

Yea she should. He just never made it clear from the beginning. But the issue is not that she does not pay rent, its the fact that she is there consistantly. I can read you from a mile away.... You would prefer a bit of freedom and not see her everytime.
