What Spelluring?

Default clicking noise at 2k and under

mod list
perrin 35r kit
hydra
stock motor
meth injection
twin disc clutch

for the past few weeks my motor has been leaking oil from the gaskets(we think) how ever in the last 2 days I have noticed a loud(can hear over moderate music) when the motor is in or out of gear at 2k and gets louder as it gets lower.
now is this serious or could it be dealing with the -1 temps outside.
the car still pulls like crazy and the A/F readings are normal.
Should i be worried or just let it go.

also i dont beat on the car hard i rarely get on it, latly(month or so ) i havnt gone over 4000k.

also the oil level is normal

This "clicking" - does it vary along with the rpm? And you say it "goes away" above 2K, or is it perhaps that you can't hear it above 2K? Does it do this just when it is warming up, or does it do it all the time? Does it make this same noise with the car stationary, and you just rev it? Clutch in and out, the same?

use a screwdriver to your ear to pinpoint the sound or post up a sound clip, I don't think you are going to get anywhere by trying to translate a sound into words and hoping for advice.

OK, at least you've established that it isn't a moving rattle, or drivetrain noise. Pop the hood and start listening - see if you can locate it. If you can't tell, put it on a lift with the engine running, pop the shroud off and listen to the bottom side.
