Default fog light color change

on my 06 STi i have the fog light kit that subaru offers and i was wondering if i could put bulbs in them to match the color of the fog lights or even make then yellow

Piaa Plasma Ion Yellow Bulbs (H3) will make em nice and yellow

GE Golds, Narva/Osram Selective Yellows, Phillips All-weather Plus. Haven't tried the Piaa's but the one's I listed you can only get from Daniel Stern or a European site like powerbulbs.co.uk. European bulbs are the way to go.

PIAA has decent stuff but alot of it really overpriced, especially their bulbs.

GE golds and the Narva would be the cheapest and the yellowest of the 3. I tried the philips once and they aren't as yellow.

so if i buy this bulb would i have to change the whole housing or i could just change the bulb

www.Lamix-X.com or www.Rockblocker.com for yellow film for the lens or www.Autolumination.com for Actual yellow bulbs.

It's an H3 bulb, 55 watts. It's fairly simple to change and there are many tutorials to be found. Make sure not to touch the bulb. I wear mittens when doing it . Also if you have a front lip it might be a bit trickier. Not sure there.

i have an 07 sti with fog lights and i did the piaa ion crystal yellows the fog lights are very yellow like a lexus is300 it looks very good i recomend them... "shutup" got them on his 03 bugeye with the laminex or however its spelled. adds a little more yellow if u think its not enough... on the 06 you will be fine the projectors create a good effect... if i take pictures ill post em..
