lol, you must be crazy comparing yourself to Kazama (the driver)

and No, theres no way Rich can drives it better, afterall he is not a pro. If anything, local driver Brady Dorman would have a better chance than Rich.

From what I saw the driver for the STi could have taken the corners a little better. After each cor I could see the Skyline pulling away a little each time. A couple of times he didn't even swing out a little he just tied to hook the turn from the inside the whole time. Just my thoughts, but hell im not a pro but both were very good and the vid was sweat. My two favorite cars going at it.

I must say Brady is a stud in the 240 but what makes you the god of driver knowledge have you ever even rode with Rich I will vouche for his driving.

I was thinking the same thing. Everyone who is hating on Rich not being able to drive have obviously not seen him drive or talked to him. He knows what he's doing and I'm willing to bet that even though that guy's a pro driver Rich could have done better. Rich knows his car and races his car so he knows it a little better than some random driver taking it out for the first time to race it against a skyline that , according to the other thread, those two drivers have raced several times. Both are good drivers, both are awesome cars. I just think he could have driven the STi a little different in the race againt the Skyline.

I would fold too if I saw the Mines GTR all over my rearveiw like that!! I dont think there is any question as to wether or not it would have been a different race if Rich was driving. Hes got alot of time in under his belt, and while I'm sure Kazama has more experience overall, it certainly isnt from driving left hand drive Sti's set up like this one, and only on a few practice laps. Maybe either way the Mines couldnt be beat that day, but I would def. be aggrivated if that was my sti and I had to chill and watch on the sidelines.

I have seen Rich's driving at the track many times. Its no doubt he is a decent driver, especially in his own car. My friend Bitts (Evo VIII around 360whp) went head up againist Rich's STI @ FIR main and ran better times than the STI. Don't get me wrong I am not doubting Rich's driving skills, but I don't think it can be compare to Kazama, thats all. Regardless, that STI is sick and definitely received lots of attention in the import scene.

Bits faster than Rich? Maybe that one event? Last event at PIR, Rich was running 1:06's(same as Brady in his 240), and Bits is in the 1:09's. Also Brady dominates in every car he drives(Nismo 350z, Ksport Integra etc). I think they overdrove Rich's sti for that matchup, as Rich doesn't seem to have the understeer issues they were encountering. At least a subaru made it to the finals for American Touge!! And the car will be on the cover of the Dvd(which we sell, hint hint).

Brady do dominate in every car he drives. He even got selected as one of the11 fastest time attack cars in the country will be put through a series of dynamic tests, with the scores from each being tallied to determine the Modified Tuner Car of the Year.

And those cars are:
1. AMS Mitsubishi EVO
2. Axis Nissan 350Z
3. Cobb Tuning WRX STi
4. Factor X Acura NSX
5. HASport Honda CRX
6. JIC/Hankook S15
7. M-Workz Nissan 350Z
8. Skunk2 Acura RSX
9. World Racing Scion tC
10. XS Engineering R32 Skyline GTR
11. Brady's S14

you mean: those cars "were". the testing was done last fri and sat, cause i was there Surge co-sponsored his 240 for the event. Unfortunately he couldn't drive(had to work) so a friend drove for him. We still did pretty well though, especially considering that list of cars!!! we are not allowed to post results until the Modified issue comes out. Cobb didn't make it though

No, it won't be out for awhile! We always have American Touge 1 and 2(which we were in, w00t) in-stock. I'll be sure to post a thread as soon as 3 is available!

Kazama only had two prior laps with our sti. I find it hard to believe that he mastered our(dynocomp)s car in a matter of two laps. Yes the car had some understeer and most likely would have done better if Kazama had a little more time in the car. I'm not saying we would have beaten the Skyline, afterall it is a skyline... But we had a great time attending the event and it was a honor to compete against the Mines Skyline...
