Is it at KCC? My friend never saw a dyno in his auto maintenance class. I know for sure my body/fender class doesn't have any. Maybe it's at UAA.

what... Now I really have to find out if there is one. That would be awesome if I can get a shot at using it before the end of the school year. My new goal.

hahahaha no it's not at king career center. The most expensive thing they have there is an 4-wheel alignment machine. Supposly this AWD dyno is supposed to be at UAA. I have heard it is only a driving simulation program in order to progressively check the vehicles condition on the road.. I never took the time to check it out but probably will stop by their facility to clarify it sometime once I get the chance.

its not about performance to them guys, its for education. besides aren't schools non-profit anyways? also if they started letting everyone use the dyno it would be ruined by the first year because of student abuse. it does suck that we all can't use it but there is always a reason.

they could use the money to 1 offset the cost of tuition, and 2 maintenance of the dyno problem solved

It is in the Auto/Diesel Center next to the Wendy Wiallamson Auditorium. It is a Mustang Dyno and it is used in the emmisions class but also in other classes. I'll get to mess with it later this semester (pulls, 1/4mile times & speeds, 0-60 times) and the auto students can use it as long as the professor likes them and both the student and professor look the car over from top to bottom for anything that looks iffy, then it can go on the dyno. And after talking with my professor about why they don't open it to the public it is because they don't want to or need to.
