shoot i know how im gonna spend my sunday, Do you guys think i could use a drill powerd fine wire brush to rough up and strip. Also did you leave the tire on and just mask the heck out of things? Some one said if they were recently armoralled or whatever the paint didnt stick?

I want to do this while the car is in the shop and before i put the summer wheels back on.

Looks really good, this is exactly what i wanna do with my stock 16's except make the WRB lip sedona red to match my sedan. What kinda paint did you use for the blue since they dont make a WRB blue wheel color... i have a bunch of touch up paint for my car i was thinking it could be used on the lip then clear coated..... any input would be great since i'd rather not mess up my stock wheels cuz they are all i got

paintscratch.com sells spray cans of any color and I just put the clear wheel coating over it.

a buddy of mine who works for a auto body place said a can or two of regular sedona red touch up paint should hold fine with the clear coat over it (and all the prep work obviously)

think that'll look right? or is the spray can from the website the best/easiest way

Thanks! I used a white base then for the color I used Duplicolor Gold Engine Enamel. It went on really smooth, good stuff.

sanded
I used all Duplicolor Stuff
2 coats of primer
4 coats of Graphite Wheel coating about 5min apart
3 coats of Clear wheel coat
I have a few spots that aren't perfect but overall well worth the 30$ for paint
