Here is my old car. I'm searching for ideas for my new wheels but thought I'd post this as well. It's duplicolor graphite and for some reason I didn't use any clear coat on them. But i liked the color.

Face down ass up, that's the way we like to....paint?

Painted my winter rims which were originally stock silver, gold. I think it came out pretty awesome!

Forester wheels painted white for winter duty. Broke 'em in last night ice racing. But I got beat by an Audi.

Rather than searching the entire thread, what are people using for a gold? I'm considering the Grimmspeed, but at $15/can, i'd like to find a cheaper alternative. I dont need an exact BBS gold match, just something close enough.

Thanks, i look back and wish I would've gotten them powder coated.

Drowner- I used color code gk1 when they were painted at the shop. I think $15 a can is rather cheap.

Yes, but not combined with 12-13 additional for shipping (amazon and direct from GS). When its close to $30, i'd rather just buy something local.

They were originally silver, then some dummy "powdercoated" them black (or so he said, I think it's paint). I bought them and refinished the faces in oem BBS gold and kept the barrels black. Looks awesome. I'm going to be putting them up for sale this weekend once I take better pics.

Just wondering, Is it a must to use wheel paint products or can you use paint from home depot such as Rustoleum(color+clear coat+primer)?

Ive had good results with duplicolor products, but am looking to get gloss black for this idea I have. Any suggestions? I would like to make sure it is wheel paint or at least compatible with wheel paint clear coat.
