Werd, I used to live in the same prefecture as that place. Did you see any monkeys in the switchbacks? Bastards are annoying as hell, always getting in your way...

We should meet up, I'm in Nara, shopping for an Impreza now. Oh, if only that nice shiny low-mileage STi V6 wagon wasn't so expensive...

Oh, and the slope is so named because the ancient way of reading the Japanese alphabet goes i-ro-ha... so it's like "ABC slope". Each of the turns has a different letter of the alphabet assigned to it.

Really? you are in Japan now? I drove to Nikko yesterday, and yes, I saw 4 monkeys. Only if I have my impreza, it would be much more fun!! Cruise up to Tochigi and Guma and test out the mountains. hehe..

The white one tak beats is Seiji Iwaki's (their second driver). The black evo was drivin by the leader of team emperor Kyouichi.

Actually I do, I just forgot that the leader is the black Evo III not the white Evo IV. Just watched it this a.m.
