Canon Digital Rebel XT with the stock lens, canon 75mm-300mm lens. Just got the Canon 430ex speedlite flash, Tokina AT-X DX Fisheye lens in a couple days ago. Tripod, Wireless remote, 6-7 512-1gb memory cards and a bigger bag soon to carry all these stuff.....

Going to upgrade this camera this coming summer and use the XT as backup..But I love this camera to much so maybe I might just not.

Anyone know any local camera and accesories shop in town? I never looked and just ordered my things online.

<--- Not rich enough to buy a SLR, but maybe when I get back from vacation I can start saving up. Right now I'm using a pretty nice P&S Kodak Z740. Tripod. 512mb memory card.

I really want to buy a Rebel XTi or a D50. Just depends on how much money I can save up.

theres ritz in the dimond mall
and theres stuarts or somethign i dont remember downtown..
best buy also started carrying a couple lenses/flashes for canons/nikons as well they even have a couple tamron lenses
IMO its better just ordering online cuz theyre usually cheaper
the ef-s 10-22 lens is around 800+ in the stores but online i saw it for somewhere between 600-700
when you get your fisheye let me know how you like it cuz ive been wanting a fisheye for a while but so far the ef-s 10-22 and the 50mm 1.4 are on the top of my list

Yeah, I'm pretty excited that I finally got the lens. I've been waiting for the past couple weeks for this to come in.. But when I find the time to use it I'll def. tell you how the fisheye is. I used a friends and I enjoyed it alot. Hah, it's fun to take pictures with it.

Amazon works well for me and feel free to go off the bandwagon for best feature per dollar ratio.

http://www.dpreview.com/ This is a good review site but seems to by down right now.

At that price, it's all about checking them out, both features as well as hands-on. Last year I got a Sony Cybershot (don't know offhand which exact one). I compared for a while.

For me, it came down to the right features, including large lcd, decent optical zoom, minimal shutter lag (time from pushing button to when it takes a shot), tripod mountability, size and shape (fits easily in a pocket). Also, the location of the buttons on the camera, and the feel of it made a difference. I chose a mid-range version, because a high megapixel rating wasn't that important to me (I have 5.1 or 6.1)

In the end it was the best model for me that was available at the time.

I should add that I have access to a Rebel XT as well, which also weighed in to why I got the cybershot. We used both in Kauai this past November, and both worked out well.

I like my little camera for it's size and capabilities, but miss a SLR for zoom-type shots. I have to borrow the SLR more often.

Random things I took. From Trips, to Projects, yearbook and portfolios it's just everything for me.

Waiting to go on a dinner cruise in Thailand.

It's all hand carved. Took about.. 1 1/2 years I think to finish.

Had to take face expressions for a project and yearbook. Came out good to me.

Hand carved Buddha statue.(Head)

Taken for yearbook sports page. Service Football team.

Sign off the streets in Thailand. For some reason I like it.

I take many random things. But, doing that to me works at the end. Most of the time.

He's probably the kicker. j/k I played soccer when I was a kid, so I do respect kickers.
