Default 02 MBP WRX Sedan Wreck

Update: As of now, the car is spoken for.

Hi there,

Got a wreck for sale. Aside from the obvious body damage, the front passenger control arm is bent. Everything else seems to be in working condition. The car has some mods that I will be taking out including:

1. Coilovers (I have the stock springs and struts)
2. Turboback exhaust (I have the stock downpipe but no catback)
3. Intercooler (I have the stock IC as well)
4. Intake (Don't have the stock airbox but could possibly get one if needed)
5. Up pipe (Don't know if I really want to bother getting it out)
6. Possibly the tires and rims too depending if I can find a set of cheap stock ones.

The car has ca. 120k mi. on it and was never abused. The first 106k mi. was all stock from the previous owner. Went to stage 2 with a Protune when I got it and changed the timing belt, clutch and all the fluids. I would like to get $4000 obo for it. I am located in Ashford, CT (Around UConn Storrs campus). If nobody wants it, I'll move the car to the part-out section. Please no dibs on this and that parts 'till then.

Cheers.

Gerald.

Hey there,

My head is fine and so are is the rest of me I had two passengers with me and we all came out unscathed. I couldn't sleep for a day and had a glass cut, one passenger had two or three glass cuts, and the other was fine. The car held up well and I gave it a pat for it. If you want to read more about it, there is a post in the general forums about my accident here:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1204134

Sorry, I am keeping the supertones as well.

Cheers.

Gerald.

It surely looks like my old WRX.

Did the rear bumper show signs of a light (5mph or so) hit? There was a small wrinkle in the bumper cover where it steps inward to the license plate space.
That was about the only damage on my car when I sold it.

Had the same rims too...

I got rid of mine in 2004 with around 36k miles.

Don't think it was yours. I picked mine up with 106k mi. on it in August 2006 and all the miles were done by a single owner.

I hear that. It was on during winter and made no perceivable difference. I was going to remove it come warmer weather but it doesn't matter now.

Do you have the stock axleback exhaust? If so, are you including it w/ the sale of the car or are you willing to sell it apart? I'm in CT and need it. Let me know. Thanks!

Mike,

Sorry, I threw my stock catback out the window when I put my aftermarket exhaust out.
