Closing in on the decision to buy a GT30 kit for my car.. need to find out if I can get rid of my current setup first though! Here's what I'd be selling:
FP Green, polished compressor cover, ported turbine housing. 2.4" inlet, 7cm hot side Ultimate Racing external wastegate uppipe + TiAL 38mm wastegate HKS downpipe customized for recirc wastegate w/trick flex joint Perrin silicone turbo inlet - red Perrin BigMAF intake - red All exhaust parts are heat wrapped including a turbo blanket. ~10k miles TOPS on this. I got to drive the car 2 days a week from May-October, and the car has been parked since. Retail new for the parts is 2600+, not including the heat wrap and custom work on the downpipe. I live in Southern Maine and work in Hudson, MA Mon-Fri so meeting up will be easy for basically anyone in NE. Asking $1750 ****edit**** all parts are now off and ready for shipping, current pics:

I'm getting a custom kit. The reason for me swapping is that the car is no longer my daily driver and I'm going to take it a bit further. IMO, the FP Green is THE daily driver turbo for the STI.

umm... nope.
Right now my car has a header on it and that's it. 0whp. I am out of state M-F and only get to wrench on the weekends. |

What's for sale + 20psi, stock header, stock tmic, stock bpv, modded injectors, borla hush, protune I made 348wtq/365whp.
Swapped to the perrin header, same tune, made 374wtq/342whp. With tuning I have no doubt the HP would have come up in line with the torque and been very nasty. I drove the car so little last fall and F1Dyno closed down so I never had it retuned with the header. |
