want to see if anyone wants to trade catbacks, i have the greddy evo and want something a bit louder or realy f'n loud . I had the invidia n1 race before the greddy and it was loud but to high pitched. So i would like to get a blitz or cobb, anything that is deep.

thanks,
Javi

I think the Cobb is quiet like the Evo, maybe even quieter. Is it the Evo2 that you have or the older Evo? If its the Evo 2 I might be interested in a straight up purchase if the price was right.

its the evo 1 only the canister is stainless steel, but there is really no difference in the evo 1 and 2 besides the stainless steel piping. No difference in mm size. *shurgs* but if i sell it i will have nothing to put on.

I believe the Evo1 has the tip in the middle of the canister while the evo2 has the tip offset allowing the canister to kind of tuck up under the car and look more flush. My stock STI catback is basically the same as the SPT catback, so if you want that in trade. You said you want louder, but two of the exhausts you mentioned you would trade for are quieter than the Greddy, IMO.

the spt is louder then the greddy (im catless w/ headers) and so is the cobb ive heard both on sti's. But i will not trade for a stock sti exhaust, unless you buy me a electric cutout at the same time.

btw sorry to break it to ya but stock sti catback is alot different than a spt catback. catback is a 3 in pipe that goes to 2.75 at the donut gasket. no resonator, and 3 in tip.

I think the sti is 2.5 piping for axelback and 2.25/2.5 pipe with resonator?

although for a stockish car 2.5 piping is fine. 3in does make a difference in back pressure over is. ( i get a lazier spool with it over a stock 06-07 wrx but more top end/or wot power)
