Default EJ20 stage 2.5 with oem STi injectors?

I was wondering if anyone is using a stage 2.5 map with the STi oem injectors?

I know the "correct" stage 2.5 is VF39 or 34, jdm STi pinks, larger top mount, and fuel pump, but im curious why you never hear anyone using plain old STi injectors.

Because USDM STI Injectors are sidefeed and WRX Injectors are Top Feed, so they are not swappable.

If you want power then you want bigger. You will be happy for a week then want more

It is cheaper to do it right the first time then to do it twice.

Typical tuned WHP numbers are around 250-260. I tuned a VF39 WRX 2 weeks ago and it felt very strong compared to the stock turbo.

I agree with Smoby to some extent, if you are looking for power then I'd recommend a big 16G or a 18G. My friend with the VF39 wants to continue Auto Crossing and the VF39 is a good compromise between power and response.

The "plain old STi injectors" in the 2007 STI and LGT are the same as the ones in the 2006+ WRX and FXT. They are top feed and flow about 10% more fuel than "jdm STi pinks."
