Default Starting and Idling Issues

OK, it looks like I solved my original problem of slow cranking with getting a new battery. But the car still cranks forever before it will actually kick over and start. It will pop and fart like it wants to start, but then keeps cranking. All the while, I'm blipping the throttle to try and get it to start. Finally it starts and I have to keep revving it in order to keep it running. If I go off throttle, it will sputter for a second or two at 700-800RPM and then die out.

Also, no matter what RPM I'm at, the wideband is showing about 15:1 to 17:1. I figured no biggie, it's not following the idle target table because its to lean. So add some fuel into the fuel map and all should be well. Well I added fuel into the fuel map and the AFR didn't change. What am I missing here??

Thanks,
Tim

Let's start here:

1. What hardware revision do you have? 2.0 box or 2.5 box?

2. Whose map are you using?

3. What injectors are you using? Better yet, list all of the car's mods.

4. You added "some fuel". Define "some fuel". As in... where in the fuel map did you add it, how much did you add (percentage)... etc.

Could be 1 or many of about ... 30 things going wrong.

2.1 box running 2.14 software

Phil sent me a base map for 1000cc low impedence injectors.

Wiseco pistons (8.9:1)
Pauter rods
stock crank
stock heads and cams
KingPin GT35R kit
FUEL SYSTEM
***167; Walbro 255 L/hr intank pump
***167; Aeromotive A1000 external pump & filter
***167; Custo designed swirl pot
***167; Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
***167; -8 braided lines supply
***167; -6 braided lines return
***167; Ultimate racing 1000cc injectors
***167; Ultimate racing fuel rails
***167; Custom mounting tray
***167; All mounting hardware and fittings
APS FMIC

That's all the important mods that I can think of.

Once I got the car to start, I was holding it at about 2000RPM and the cell that was yellow, I added some fuel in. For example, if the number was .9, I bumped it up to 1.2 without any change in the AFR.

Everyone remember to make sure your plugs aren't fouled out.
