Default Use CA91, runs best on 93map?

I occasionally use the stg 2 93oct map, when 91oct cali gas is mixed with VP fuel. The past 2 fillups have been soley the 91oct cali crap. I haven't switched my map back to stg2 91, but car feels just as strong as it did when mixed. Question is, am I hurting anything by doing this? I figure it may affect timing and other factors, but not sure. All I know is that even with cali gas, the 93 octane map still feels smoother and noticabley quicker than any of the stg2 91's. Please tell me what you guys think...

Are you running an aftermarket downpipe? If not then stage 2 will not be working correctly and it would make sense that the 93 is giving you better results on stage 1. Oops I see that you are running stage 2 on both, nevermind.

I have an HKS 3" catless downpipe, gutted up, and 3" custom bent going from dp all the way back, no resonator. I just want to make sure I'm not hurting anything.
